Marie, a Toronto policewoman, says good night to her lawyer husband and their son, who are on their way to watch a hockey game. At an isolated intersection, their car is riddled with bullets and both father and son die instantly. Inconsolable, Marie crumples with grief, but she soon decides to take justice into her own hands. She finds out the identity of the shooter from one of her contacts in the underworld. Marie travels to Argentina where the killer, a street kid who happens to be the nephew of a drug trafficker she helped put in jail, lives. But because the killer’s uncle has given him a new assignment, finding him turns out to be more complicated than she anticipated.
