When government spy Michael Westen was disavowed by the US government, he was left with nothing to his name and winds up back in his hometown of Miami, Florida. Desperate to find out who burned him and why, Westen takes on a job working as an unlicensed private investigator for ordinary citizens in order to fund his own investigation.
