Jack Ryan (Harrison Ford) has been appointed the acting CIA Deputy Director of Intelligence after Admiral James Greer (James Earl Jones) becomes ill with cancer. The first major case Jack has to investigate is a Colombian drug cartel and its link to the mysterious deaths of one of the president’s close friends and his family.
In order to solve the case, Jack must work with Robert Ritter (Henry Czerny) and field agent John Clark (Williem Dafoe). Together, they travel to Colombia to save covert op troops.
