Stephanie (Michelle Harrison), a successful career woman, takes a wrong turn and hits a scruffy homeless man (Kirk Caouette) with her car. Paralyzed, not knowing what to do, she watches as he gets up again and walks away. In a panic, she drives away without stopping to make sure he’s okay. The next day, Stephanie sees him on her way to work. He’s playing guitar and busking in front of the office building where she works. She realizes he plays there every day, and that she’s never stopped to listen to him. She stops and talks to him, finds out his name is Mike, and they begin a friendship that may change both of their lives forever.
