The film revolves around burning issues of dowry and corruption. Muskaan is a lecturer, who stays with her brother, a school teacher and his wife. In spite of being eduacted, it becomes difficult for her to find the right match. Some how Muskaan gets engaged to a boy but this doesnt lead to marraige as the boys family demands a dowry of Rs 5 lakh, a week before the marriage. Its not over yet. The family stays in a rented haveli` and due to certain circumstances a goon moves in the same house as a tenant and starts harassing the family. Will their problems ever end? How will Muskaan fight all odds?
