In 1996, the very busy Robert Gravel finds the time, between an improvisational match with the National League of Improvisation and rehearsals for his new play “Theresa, Tom and Simon - Prodrome,” to give a series of interviews to documentary filmmaker Jean-Claude Coulbois. But on August 12th of that year, the author, director and actor dies suddenly of a heart attack at age 51. Along with footage shot up to that date, Coulbois blends archival documents and interviews with those who knew Gravel to sketch a portrait of this man of the theatre.
