The Sun Gym Gang, consisting of bodybuilders Daniel Lugo (Mark Wahlberg) and Adrian Doorbal (Anthony Mackie), plot to kidnap Victor Kershaw, a wealthy businessman. Enlisting the help of newly-released criminal Paul Doyle (Dwayne Johnson), the gang tortures Kershaw and successfully get him to sign over all his assets.
