Deaf-blind Korean poet Young-Chan lived alone in darkness and silence until he met gentle and patient Soon-Ho, who has a spinal disability. She became Young-Chan’s soulmate, partner, window and bridge to the larger world and they married. Soon-Ho translates for him using finger braille. Their lives together are witnessed in depth in this film, in which everyday moments, such as changing lightbulbs and feeling raindrops, are transformed into joyful explorations of extraordinary depth.
