When he loses his tuition money to an online poker website, Richie Furst (Justin Timberlake) is desperate to get his money back. After learning where the website is hosted, he travels to the location, and meets with the site’s owner Ivan Block (Ben Affleck). Instead of getting his money back and returning to Princeton, the young man is recruited to join the owner as his apprentice. As days pass, the men begin to bicker—but this is not the time to argue. An FBI agent (Anthony Mackie) lays in wait for Ritchie to get mad enough to bring down his boss.
