Set in a post apocalyptic not-too-distant future, mutant-hunting machines called Sentinels have almost obliterated all the mutants and now have started hunting humans. To stop the genocides of humans and mutants Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page) must use her phasing power to send Wolverine’s (Hugh Jackman) consciousness through time to stop this war before it starts. Wolverine (a.k.a. Logan) is sent back to the seventies where he has to convince a young Professor X and Magneto to work together to stop the oncoming war.
